Hello! My name is Brendan Boyd, and I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in West Michigan and recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s in Communication and Media Studies. Go Blue!

I started this website as a creative and therapeutic outlet. Like many other people my age, I have spent a copious amount of time on social media — likely too much for my own good. These apps have never been perfect mediums, but the void that we collectively scream into seems to be getting more vast and empty. This blog is a direct reaction to that phenomena — a place to collect and share thoughts without the oft-frustrating and unsatisfying nature of the social media forum.

The topics that I will focus on will vary from sports, to entertainment, to politics, to everything in between — and more. The content will be written, auditory, and visual. The opinions and ideas expressed within will express my worldview and those of occasional guests. I am excited to make this project my own and share who I am with you!
